Terms of Service
Last updated 21 September 2026.
The short version
triiip helps you plan trips. Use it for that, do not use it to harm anyone, and understand that a travel plan is a plan and not a guarantee. By using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
Your account
You can use triiip without an account; then everything stays on your phone. To share a trip or keep it across devices you sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a code we email you. One email address is one account: signing in with Google using the address an existing account already has signs you in to that account. Keep the codes we send you to yourself; nobody from triiip will ever ask for one. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite to your trips, so give join codes only to the people you mean to share with.
Your content
Your trips, notes, expenses and files are yours. You give us only the permission we need to store them, back them up, and show them to the people you share a trip with. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to, anything illegal, or anything that would harm someone else. Attachments are limited in size and kind (images, PDFs and plain text), and the free plan holds a limited number of documents per trip.
Shared trips
The person who made a trip owns it. The owner decides who joins, whether each member can edit or only view, and can remove anyone. Anyone can leave a trip. When the owner deletes a trip it is gone for everyone on it, files included, and that cannot be undone. Your packing list is your own and is never shown to other members.
The planner
When you ask triiip to build days for you, the plan is generated by an AI model from the destination, dates and preferences you give it. It is a starting point. Places may be closed, moved, renamed or wrong; travel times are estimates. Check anything that a missed connection would ruin.
triiip Pro
Some features, such as the full plan for longer trips and unlimited documents, need triiip Pro. Pro is a subscription billed through the App Store at the price shown there. It renews automatically until you cancel, and you cancel it in your Apple account settings at least a day before it renews. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. We may change what Pro includes or costs; a price change applies from your next renewal and Apple will tell you first.
Acceptable use
Do not use triiip to harass anyone, to store or share unlawful material, to get into trips or accounts that are not yours, to work around the limits of the free plan, or to overload or interfere with the service. We may suspend or close an account that does.
Third parties
Maps come from Mapbox and Apple, place search and directions from Apple, currency rates from a public exchange rate service, and sign in from Apple and Google. Those services have their own terms, and they may be unavailable or wrong through no fault of ours. The emergency numbers in the app are provided for convenience; confirm the number for where you are.
What we do not promise
The service is provided as it is and as it is available, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we are not liable for a trip that did not go to plan, for lost bookings, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Where the law does not allow us to exclude liability, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using triiip at any time, and delete your account from Settings; see the privacy policy for what that removes and how to have the rest removed. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms, and we may stop offering the service, in which case we will give you a reasonable chance to get your data out.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the app will say so before the change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will move. Using triiip after that means you accept the new terms.
